GROUP WORK
This was the first group work I suggested to my class. They worked on it very well. I must say that the presentations were very good as they tried hard always to speak in English and they also interacted with each other (group to group) asking and answering questions about their brand new invented companies.

CELICAR – COMPUTER HARDWARE
2.Type of Industry: Computers Hardware
3.Location: The Head Office is located in Famalicão
4.Main Activity: We sell hardware products
5.Products/Services: We provide a good service to customers
6.Number of employees: 40
7.Factories/Subsidiaries: We haven´t any
9.Responsibilities/Daily routines:
Conceição is the Operations Director. She runs the factory.
Rosa is the Finance Director. She controls Finance.
Celina is the Sales & Marketing Director. She contacts customers and manages sales.
10.Customers/Suppliers: We have a hundred (100) customers and they are Portuguese.
Our suppliers are from Portugal and Spain. We have fifteen (15).
We also have many competitors but we are doing good.
11.Deliveries: We deliver the products directly to the customer’s stores.
12.Advertising: We advertise in magazines
13.Payment Conditions: In thirty (30) days

4.Main Activity: We buy and sell clothes
5.Products/Services: Clothes products

7.Factories/Subsidiaries: The subsidiaries are located in Lisbon, London, Paris, Milan and New York
9.Responsibilities/Daily routines:
Linda is responsible for the Logistics & Transport Department
Letícia is in charge of the Finance & Management Department
Carla is responsible for the Sales & Buying and the Marketing & Publicity Departments
Lurdes is in charge of the Human Resources Department
10.Customers/Suppliers/Competitors:We have international customers and our suppliers are Moschinno, Rambla, Replay, Versace, Armani, Dior, Dolce&Gabanna and Roberto Cavali
Our competitors are other stores that sell the same brands
11.Deliveries: We just make deliveries for our subsidiaries. We deliver by land, by sea and by air
13.Payment Conditions: We take cash, credit card and cheque
12.Advertising: We advertise on television and in magazines (Elle, Vogue, etc.)
